How much time trading actually takes

Time commitment clarity

Clear phases show where trading time is spent.

You check prices constantly, hunt for entries, and scramble to place orders at awkward times. Setup feels vague: connecting accounts, choosing a strategy, and tuning parameters takes longer than you expect. You wonder if automation means babysitting alerts or constant screen time when a bot runs. When a strategy acts strangely you do not know whether to pause, tweak, or let it keep running.

Liquid Edge runs your chosen strategy on the exchange account you already hold, so automation shifts work to setup and periodic review.

  • Initial setup and validationYou connect your exchange via its API keys, select or build a strategy, and tune parameters; short test runs validate behaviour before continuous operation.
  • Hands off does not mean no oversightA deployed bot runs and places orders on your exchange account continuously; you plan brief weekly or event driven checks and occasional strategy updates.
  • We never get withdrawal rights. Anywhere. On a perp DEX your funds sit in an isolated onchain vault only you can withdraw from. On a centralized exchange the exchange custodies them and we connect with API permissions limited to trading. Neither route lets Liquid Edge move your capital.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit or stop a strategy once it is running?

At any time. You can pause a bot, change its parameters, or stop it outright, and a kill switch is always within reach. Because the funds are in your own account, you can also close positions directly on the exchange if you prefer.

How does risk management work?

You set the limits once and the engine enforces them: position sizing, per-trade stops, maximum exposure and a kill switch. The point is that the limits hold at three in the morning, when discipline is hardest to apply by hand.

What markets can Liquid edge tools be used on?

Liquid Edge bots are designed to perform in all market conditions whether bullish or bearish. As one of the first platforms to eliminate directional bias concerns, our system automatically trades long or short based on the strategy you select, ensuring adaptability regardless of market trends.

Which exchanges and venues can I use?

Liquid Edge covers 16 venues: centralized exchanges for spot and futures, and perp DEXes for on-chain perpetuals. Several are live today and the rest are on the roadmap, marked Coming Soon on the exchanges page so you always know which is which.

Can I run more than one bot at a time?

Yes, and most people do. Plan limits govern how many live deployments and API keys you get; paper trading is unlimited on the paid plans so you can test several ideas alongside whatever is running live.
