Perpetual trade mechanics

Positions are managed even when you are away.

You watch prices, funding rates and margin by hand and still miss critical moments that force emergency trades. You wrestle with leverage, mark price versus index price mismatches, and sudden liquidation mechanics that can blow through planned exits. You patch together scripts or sleep with charts open to avoid margin shortfalls and execution delays, which adds operational and execution risk.

Liquid Edge runs automated strategies against your exchange account using your exchange API keys.

  • Automated order placementLiquid Edge places, updates and cancels orders directly on your exchange account via the API keys you provide, executing the strategy rules you set.
  • Continuous bot executionYou can deploy your own strategy or a Liquid Edge strategy as a continuously running bot that manages orders and position adjustments on your account.
  • We never get withdrawal rights. Anywhere. On a perp DEX your funds sit in an isolated onchain vault only you can withdraw from. On a centralized exchange the exchange custodies them and we connect with API permissions limited to trading. Neither route lets Liquid Edge move your capital.

Frequently asked questions

Is my API key safe?

Absolutely — API keys are encrypted and never store withdrawal permissions.

What happens if an exchange goes down mid-trade?

If an exchange experiences downtime during an active trade, the platform will detect the disruption and handle it according to its risk protocols. Once connectivity is restored, the system reassesses open positions and resumes operations accordingly.

Can I bring my own signals or data?

Yes. Liquid Edge accepts external signals over webhooks, so a TradingView alert, a Python model, a notebook or an automation flow can trigger execution on your connected account with your risk rules attached.

What is the Portfolio Orchestrator?

A Liquid Edge native layer that treats your running bots as one book rather than a pile of unrelated positions: it weights strategies against each other and holds combined exposure inside limits you set once. It is on the roadmap rather than live today.

What is the difference between monthly and yearly billing?

The same plan, charged annually instead of monthly, at 25% less. The pricing table defaults to yearly and shows what that works out to per month, with the standard monthly price struck through beside it.
