Accessibility at Liquid Edge

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the technical standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the United States, by Section 508 for federal procurement, and by EN 301 549 in the European Union.

We do not describe this site as "ADA compliant" or "WCAG certified". No authority issues such a certificate, conformance is judged page by page, and a site that changes weekly can regress. What we can tell you is what we have implemented, what we test, and what we know is still imperfect.

• A skip link, so keyboard users can jump past the navigation to the page content in one keystroke.
• Landmark structure on every page: header, labelled navigation, a main region, and a footer.
• One H1 per page and headings in order, so screen-reader users can navigate by structure rather than reading everything.
• Text alternatives on meaningful images, and decorative artwork hidden from assistive technology so it is not announced as noise.
• A visible focus outline on every link, button and field, in both the dark and light themes.
• A light theme on every content page for readers who find the dark palette hard to read.
• Motion honours the operating system's reduce-motion setting: animation and smooth scrolling stop when you ask them to.
• Semantic buttons and links rather than clickable divs, so controls are reachable and operable by keyboard.
• Content that reflows to a single column at 320px width and stays usable at 200% zoom.
• Automated axe-core checks run against the site during development, and the violations found have been fixed rather than suppressed.

Being straight with you about the gaps is more useful than a blanket claim:

• This site has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist, and no assistive-technology user testing has been commissioned. Automated tools catch perhaps a third of real barriers.
• Some decorative sections use dense animated backgrounds. They are muted under reduce-motion, but the visual density may still be tiring.
• Charts and diagrams carry text alternatives that summarise the point, not every data point behind them.
• Colour contrast on low-emphasis captions and mono labels meets AA in most places but has not been verified on every one of the site's pages.
• The trading platform behind the login is a separate application from this marketing site, and its accessibility is being worked on separately.

• Both themes checked, since contrast differs between them.

If something on this site blocked you, we want to hear it, and we treat it as a bug rather than a suggestion. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, and we will get back to you.
